“After getting off birth control, I was referred to Cassidy by my OBGYN to help with the effects it had left on my body. I had been on birth control for 10 years and had no idea about the harm it was causing to my body. Hormonal birth control had left my testosterone severely depleted, which caused sensitivity, which caused pain during sex, which ultimately caused an overactive pelvic floor. I knew I needed help when I started having an overactive bladder. I came to Cassidy in tears and feeling like my body had betrayed me. I couldn't enjoy sex and was embarrassed to be having accidents as a grown adult.
