Cassidy McWilliams, Founder
Hi! I’m Cassidy. I attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. After entering the workforce, I started my journey in orthopedic and sports injury care. Within my first year of practice, I had a patient who was rehabilitating from an ACL reconstruction surgery, who also happened to be pregnant. I started to do some research on considerations I needed to know regarding safe care and along the way, I learned that over 25% of women, 10% of men, and up to 15% of school-aged children experience pelvic floor dysfunction. From there on out, I merged my love for treating sports and orthopedic injuries with my passion for pelvic health.
I have completed extensive continuing education focused on pelvic health and patient care regarding pregnancy, labor preparation, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, inflammatory conditions such as endometriosis, the athlete and the pelvic floor, bowel and bladder dysfunction and most recently, pediatric and male pelvic floor dysfunction. I am experienced with treating individuals at all functional levels and I customize your plan of care based on your specific needs.
For the last six years, when I wasn't in the clinic treating my pelvic floor population, I was providing sideline and athletic training room coverage for a local high school in Phoenix, AZ as their athletic department's physical therapist. This allowed me to work along side some of the most renowned sports surgeons in the country.
My 8+ years of clinical expertise in pelvic health, orthopedics, and sports give me a unique skillset as a provider. My practice bridges performance and pelvic health, recognizing that these populations often overlap and deserve comprehensive, whole-person care. My passion is deeply rooted in providing informative and intentional care that supports musculoskeletal health and wellness throughout every stage of life. I help active adults, athletes, and those navigating pelvic health concerns return to the activities that matter most—whether that's competing, exercising, parenting, or simply moving through life with confidence. I also help those who have had barriers to participating in the activity they love and are looking to address their symptoms that are holding them back from the quality of life they imagined.
Although my setting is changing from the clinic to your doorstep, my mission remains the same: to deliver the best patient experience through balanced, comprehensive care that transforms each patient’s connection to and confidence in their body. I would love to help you on your journey.

Patient Testimonial
“I started working with Cassidy long before my surgeries — first for pain management, then for prehab to prepare my body for what was ahead. From there, she was with me through two knee replacements, a total reverse shoulder replacement, hip issues, and eventually pelvic floor therapy. That kind of long-term partnership says everything about her dedication.
Her clinical knowledge is exceptional. She has an uncanny ability to understand exactly what your body needs at every stage — before and after major surgery — and the expertise to deliver it. But what I was most grateful for was her warmth. She listened, she encouraged, she celebrated every milestone with me and was supportive during this journey.
I came to her in pain and years later, I’m stronger than I’ve been in a long time. If you are searching for a physical therapy who brings both extraordinary skill and genuine heart to her work, you have found her at Core to Floor Physical Therapy.”
